Accepted Materials

We are permitted to accept only solid, non-hazardous waste materials including general household garbage, food, yard and garden waste, etc. We do not accept any regulated waste such as: hazardous waste, medical waste, pressure-filled containers, paint, used oil or containers, or electronics. To help residents safely dispose of household hazardous waste, the City of Saskatoon coordinates free Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days between April and November.
