Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre
The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre promote a food secure community where all people have access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food. They also believe it’s important to address the underlying issues contributing to hunger and poverty in our community. In their Learning Centre, they operate various learning, self-help and life skills programs that are supportive of learning needs and aspirations within a family oriented, empowering and self-directed environment.
Friendship Inn
The Inn has created a welcoming environment by committing to being responsive and compassionate, and to fostering a sense of belonging among children, youth and adults who experience poverty, with a no-questions-asked policy. At the Inn, people access breakfast, lunch, a family worker, as well as information on topics ranging from health to the law. Serving the needs of vulnerable, marginalized people strengthens our growing community.
Nutrien Wonderhub
The Children’s Discovery Museum is a state-of-the-art, centrally located children’s museum in the Mendel building, which houses a vibrant and welcoming hub for children and families, a resource for schools, and a major tourist destination. Its mission is to foster creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in children twelve and under, through hands-on exhibits, programming, and outreach.
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for the enhancement of maternal and children’s healthcare and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. Relying on generous community support and partnership with individuals, businesses, corporations, service clubs, and other organizations, the Foundation is committed to being there for children and their families now and in the future.
Meewasin Valley Authority
Meewasin is a non-profit organization that exists to ensure a healthy and vibrant river valley, with a balance between human use and conservation, for the benefit of present and future generations, in Saskatoon & area.
